What Colours To Wear With Burgundy
One of the Pantone colours of this season is Eggplant – but it’s been interpreted on the High Street and fashion press as Burgundy. So if you are seeing it everywhere, you might be wandering what colours to wear with burgundy.
Traditionally a colour that you may not have thought is for you, especially if you have lighter or warmer colouring, I think it can be really versatile and surprisingly can be mixed with a huge range of colours including warmer shades.

I’ve taken a pair of Burgundy cord trousers and shown you a selection of outfit ideas mixing different colours. Of course neutrals like cream, white and navy are easy options but below I’ve added some you might not have thought about.
Don’t be afraid of being creative, use one of my mixes as inspiration, or try some new ones of your own!
Cool Colours to Wear With Burgundy
Pink and grey work brilliantly with burgundy, but one you might not have considered, but that I love, is a pastel blue.
If you have lighter colouring and feel that Burgundy might be a little heavy for you, this is a great option, as you can wear the lighter colour close to your face.

Warm Colours To Wear With Burgundy
If you have warm colouring you may have avoided Burgundy in the past. But you can mix it with your greens, mustard, browns and yellows and you’ll find it works really well.

What do you think? Have you been inspired now you know what colours to wear with Burgundy? Perhaps try it as an accessory first and see how it works with what you already have.
